"I choose to play Mapex drums because they are an exciting company that really care about their artists. I love everything they are creating, both practically, sonically and aesthetically. In my opinion, Mapex make some of the most beautiful drums and hardware that can withstand the chaos of being on tour."

Andy started playing drums at the ripe old age of 8 in Sydney, Australia. The first song he ever performed on stage was "Wild Thing" by The Troggs. A very fitting song to kick off this untameable high-energy performer on his journey to living like a rock star! Currently, Andy is the big block V8 that drives his loud, beer-crushing band "The Lazys". Their hit single "Nothing But Trouble" from the album "Tropical Hazards" quickly soared to Number 2 on the Canadian Active Rock Charts, and their constant tours of Canada and Europe bring smiles and kidney-failure to thousands each year. "Wacken 2019" (30th Anniversary) was an especially inspiring and intoxicating event for the band.
