"Mapex were the first drums I ever bought, purchasing my first kit as a teenager with my summer job money meant I wanted the best bang for my buck. I bought a Mapex M-birch kit and absolutely fell in love. As I started playing more shows and comparing to other kits, I quickly realized the quality in both sound and build that mapex punched well-above its price point. Every kit I've owned since has been a Mapex, my all-time favourite being the Saturn with it's hybrid shells and soni-clear bearing edges, making them the easiest drums to tune and sound full and punchy, without spending hours tuning and dampening. Truly a working drummer's best bet for a touring workhorse of a kit."
