The Mapex Drum Company has introduced "The Armory" series of snare drums. The five specially crafted snare drums include pro-level features, such as 2.3mm Powerhoops, unique tube lugs, piston-action strainers, and Black Panther snare wires with brass end-plates and stainless steel music wire coils. Additionally, the three wood-shell models include Mapex's new SONIClear™ Bearing Edge, enabling easier tuning, a powerful and focused tone, and enhanced shell-vibration.
The steel Tomahawk snare model is included as standard with the purchase of every Armory Series drum set, although it can be traded-in for any of the four other models, giving an extra level of personal choice to the player. Armory Snares are great additions to any player's arsenal or for your main weapon of choice.

Dillinger - It's fast, articulate, and responsive, THE DILLINGER will handle the most intense of musical assaults. The 14" x 5.5" 8-ply Maple Shell will open up with just a flick of the finger.
Exterminator - This drum is all about mass impact. With a 14" x 6.5" Birch/Walnut Hybrid Shell, THE EXTERMINATOR has a broad spread and a powerful attack that your band mates will feel in their gut.
