Will Gordillo has been involved in the marching activity since 1987. Will marched snare with Northern Aurora Drum and Bugle Corps from 1992-1994 and, in 1995, he marched with the Phantom Regiment. He also marched with the Wheaters from Rockford, Illinois in 1996. After aging out, he went on to teach groups like Phantom Legion Drum and Bugle Corps (1998-1999) Phantom Regiment Indoor Percussion Ensemble in 1997. He also taught many award winning high school groups in Michigan. Will was the director of percussion for Jenison High School from Jension, Michigan from 2001-2015. He is the current director of percussion for both Godwin Heights high school and Grandville high school. Along with teaching and writing for many groups in the West Michigan area, he also was the percussion director for the Grand Valley State University Marching Band. In 2008, he helped co-found Genesis and is now the executive director for The Grand Rapids Youth Performing Arts -- the organization that manages Genesis (PIW), G2 (PIA), and Medley (guard). Will has a BA in History and Political Science from Western Michigan University and an Associates in Medical Assisting from Davenport University. He currently lives in Grand Rapids, MI.Will is the current marching band director for Davenport University.
