Javier Aponte, born in Santurce, Puerto Rico and established in Nashville, TN. Since childhood, Javier wanted to be a musician and of course a drummer. At the age of 12 receives his first drumset from his Grampa as a birthday gift. With just 15 years of age, Javier was the drummer for various important artists and bands. He’s been recently working live and in the studio with artists such as: Latin Grammy artist Samuel Hernández (Gospel, pop music), Latin Grammy artist Vico C (Hip-Hop), Latin Grammy artist Luis Rojas (Pop Rock), EMI Artist Ignacio Peña (Alternative), Latin Grammy artist Olga Tañón (Merengue), Latin Grammy artist Don Omar (Reggaeton), Latin Grammy artist Kany García (Pop), Latin Grammy artist Mónica Rodríguez (Gospel, pop music), Latin Grammy Artist Alfareros (Latin Music) among others.
Javier is a well known recording session musician drummer all around the country and Latin America. He’s working sessions at his recording studio in Nashville TN for many producers locally and in Latin America, as well as in recording studios across Puerto Rico and The Caribbean. Javier is also an educator, having his YouTube Channel: Javier Aponte, publishing drums tutorials, live and recording performances. He also teaches private lessons in his recording studio.
