JACK JOHNSON is a percussion educator residing in Manhattan, Kansas. He is currently the Tenor Instructor for Pacific Crest Drum & Bugle Corps. He received a Master’s Degree in Percussion Performance at Kansas State University. Jack also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Communication and a Music Minor from The University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. He has marched with Blue Stars, Pacific Crest, Minnesota Brass Indoor, and Minnesota Brass Drum and Bugle Corps.

Jack is formerly a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Kansas State University, where he served as the Director and Arranger for the Kansas State University Drumline along with other administrative and educational duties with the concert and percussion ensembles.

He has previously served on the percussion staff at Colt Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps, Minnesota Brass Indoor, and has worked with numerous percussion sections in Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, Iowa, and Kansas. Additionally, Jack was the Percussion Arranger for the Blugold Marching Band (UW-Eau Claire) in 2019 and 2020.
