Mario de León was born in 1997 in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. He grew up in a musical environment and has been dedicated to drums from an early age.

Thanks to his work on social media, he has become known in many countries as a drummer and educator, he has recorded hundreds of songs in the studio for multiple artists and done tours and clinics in different countries.

Mario is founder of the Music Makers academy where he has taught more than 1,200 students throughout Latin America, the Caribbean, the United States, Spain, and Spanish Speakers in Italy, England and Australia.

He is currently an endorser of prestigious brands such as MAPEX, Sabian, Evans Drumheads and SAM Audio. He also has a signature series of Promark drumsticks.
