Taylor started playing drums when he was 9 years old. In his first few years of playing drums he was introduced to his First Mentor Pat Steward (Bryan Adams) Pat took Taylor under his wing and began to show him what it meant to be a live on stage drummer and in studio drummer. By the time Taylor was 12 years old, He began taking lessons at Groove Studio's in Victoria BC, where he met his first mentor Ron Thaler (Alicia Keys, Ashley Simpson, Usher), Taylor and Ron quickly became good friends which resulted in Ron producing Taylor's first record with His band "The Royal Canadians" It was during that time that Taylor fell in love with the studio. Since then Taylor has worked with Artists such as "The Chris Buck Band", "Rod Black", "Eric Ethridge", "Wes Mack", "Swollen Members", "Diana Braithwaite & Chris Whiteley", "David Gogo", "Ryan Laird", and many others. Over the years Taylor has Studied with Drummers such as, Ron Thaler, Pat Steward, Zoro, Dave Elitch, Nate Morton, Dom Famularo, John Fisher, and Glen Sobel. Through out Taylor's Career he has played on 4 top 40 Country hits 1 Top 20, Has Had 1 Canadian Country Music Award, Won 8 BC Country Music Awards, and has been heard across the country with more than 10,000,000 streams and counting. To this day, Taylor still continues to grow as an in studio drummer as well as live concert performances.
