Silvestre Costa born on 07/09/1975, in Recife- Pernambuco.

At the age of 10 he started doing shows with the Fernando Borges Orchestra. At the age of 11, he recorded percussion for Banda Pau e Corda (Banda de Frevo Regional) under the direction of maestro Clóvis Pereira at the Somax studio... Soon, he won a scholarship at the Pernambucano Conservatory of Music where he graduated.

At the age of 13, already as a drummer, he continued in the world of recordings, such as: covering soap operas and Brazilian artists for Portugal. He played in Bands Baile, and also recorded the CDS 20 Sucessos, with Benito de Paula, Jair Rodrigues, Reginaldo Rossi, Tânia Alves, Wilson Simonal, Calby Peixoto, Luís Ayrão, Noite Ilustrada, among others. He also recorded the CD O Melhor do Forró no Melhor Forró do Mundo, with: Elba Ramalho, Dominguinhos (with whom he played for 1 year), Sivuca, Tânia Alves and Renato Arruda.

Now, as Producer of the Banda G.D.O do Forró, he was part of Rede Globo's Malhação Series. However, at Somzoom and other studios, he recorded: Mastruz com Leite, Mel com Terra, Cavalo de Pau, Rita de Cássia, Waldonys, Marinez, Elba Ramalho, Banda Virgínias, Forró Tropicália, Dogival Dantas, Franky Aguiar, Luís Fideles, Cachorra from Moléstia Caviar com Rapadura, Calcinha Preta, Banda Magnifiques, Capim com Mel, Forró da Brucelose, Aduílio Mendes and others.

He played with several respected nationally and internationally known bands, such as: Benito de Paula, Dominguinhos, Magnificos, Mastruz com Leite, Calypso.
