Ryan Folden got his first drum set for Christmas at 16, and his life was changed forever. Starting in local bands from his town of Spokane, Washington, Folden broke into the session/touring world back in 2007 with then Century Media artists “The Agony Scene”. After getting his first taste of touring full time, he was hooked. He kept busy pushing and releasing bands while touring and doing session work for bands such as “Burn Halo” (Warner music), “After Midnight Project” (Universal/Mowtown), “This Is She” (CAA), Enterprise Earth (we are triumphant) until finally landing the drumming gig for long time friends and work partners in Milan, Italy’s “Lacuna Coil” (Century Media). Folden remained with Lacuna Coil for seven years, recording the studio album “Delirium,” the live performance DVD “The 119 show,” as well as touring several times around the world playing shows and festivals in over 50 countries. Folden is currently heading into the studio to prepare for the release of his new project “Imperium A.D.” (Modern Empire)
