Marcelo Mira is an argentine drummer. He played with various bands and soloists such as "Los Guarros", "Las Blacanblus", "Memphis La Blusera, "Javier Calamaro", Coty Sorokin" and "Adrian Otero".
With Los Guarros supported Prince, Brian May, Joe Cocker and Gun´s and Roses.
With Memphis La Blusera supported The Bee Gees, Eric Clapton and Santana.
Memphis La Blusera was the first argentine band to play at the famous Colon Theatre. In 2024 he´s celebrating 55 years playing drums.
He´s a Mapex endorser since 2001.
He also played in the 1994 Zildjian Day in Buenos Aires with Dennis Chambers, Will Calhoum and Alex Acuña, and in the 2008 Zildjian Day in Buenos Aires with Dennis Chambers.
In 2003 he played a drum event with Gregg Bissonette and en 2005 with Marco Minemann.
He has published two books:"Bateria desde el primer dia and "10 Recetas Magistrales" and one video clinic : "Marcelo Mira en clase".
He is also a Zildjian and Promark endorser.
