"About 10 years ago I got my first Mapex Saturn kit and fell in love with the looks, sound and the features of it. The mixture of maple and walnut are for me, a match made in heaven.
Throughout the years I received many compliments from drummers, sound techs and producers about the looks and sound of my Saturn kit. This only confirmed that my choice for Mapex drums was the right one."
I was born on December 30, 1991 in the Netherlands. At the age of 12 I got my first drum kit and started exploring the world of drums on my own.
Making music and playing drums soon became my ultimate form of self-expression. I could not possibly imagine a life without it. I started my own YouTube channel and before long I reached international bands.
In order to learn more about the music business and to improve on my drumming skills I studied at the Metal Factory Academy – a study specialised in Heavy Music. There I worked together with members of Within Temptation, Epica, Textures, Anneke van Giersbergen and many more.
Currently I fulfil my dream by exploring the world with the bands Heidevolk (NL) and Awakening Sun (LT).
