Dave has been a key figure on the British blues scene for the past 30 years and during his long career he has shared stages with with titans of the blues world including: Buddy and Phil Guy, Eric Clapton, Dr Feelgood, Robert Ward, Robben Ford, Little Feat, Chris Duarte and BB King. He was an original member of the award winning band The Hoax in the 1990s; has worked with major producers including Mike Vernon and Chris Kimsey and is a two-time nominee for Best Drummer at the British Blues awards. Since 2004, Dave has worked with Cambridge-based blues legend Danny Bryant. He took a hiatus from Danny's band in 2006 which saw him working with some of the best known names on the British bluesrock scene including: The Nimmo Brothers, Sean Webster, Bob Hall, Top Topham, Robin Bibi, Pete Gage, Innis Sibun, King King, Dale Storr and Frank White. In 2015 Dave re-connected with Danny Bryant and has been a permanent member of the band ever since. With Danny, Dave has toured extensively across Europe and the UK, recording 5 acclaimed albums and headlining at countless festivals and events. In January 2023, Dave will embark on the recording of a new album with Danny Bryant which will be produced by Grammy-award winning UK producer Ian Dowling.
