Donn Garrett is an accomplished Northwest Musician. He has performed with: Alan White,Liberty DeVitto, Reek Havok, Shelley Tomberg, Steve Fossen, Tony LaStella, Janelle Sadler, Tommy Zvoncheck, Somar Macek, Cee Cee James, Daniel Christopherson, Steve Rice, Rick Knotts, Richie Castellano, Jeff Ganz, Chris Slade and many other talents. He has opened for John Cafferty and Tommy Tutone and The Knack.


Donn earned the respect of some World Class Drummers and Musicians subbing for Alan White [YES] during a rehearsal [NAMM 09 All Star Jam], playing the songs “Changes” and “Owner of a Lonely Heart”. As a vocalist, he has performed with The Seattle Rock Orchestra doing the music of David Bowie, The Beach Boys and Queen. Donn, along with the “Woodstick” drummers, performed at a Seahawks Halftime show in front of 67,000 people.


TV performances include: KIRO 7 Profiles playing with Alan White during a Master Class and KING 5 Tim Robinson’s The Drummers of Woodstick [pre-show]. Donn is also featured in the 560 page international drum book “Sticks n Skins” [page 229]. Two new albums,” Brilliant Mis-Takes” and “Between Home & Here”, feature his many talents and are available on Amazon and iTunes etc...


As a drum tech, Donn has been the Stage Manager for “Woodstick Big Beat” since 2004. At Woodstick Big Beat 2011, he performed on the big stage with: Danny Seraphine, Dom Famularo, Chris Coleman and Joey Oscar. Donn signed an "Artists Deal" with KickPort International in Feb of 2013 Donn is a writer for www.theblackpage.net as of March 2014. His drumming can be heard on his brother's album Monkeyshorts. Donn's new album Brilliant Mis-Takes is featured on Modern Drummers website Aug 2015.


March 2016 Donn signed with Mapex Drums. Donn is featured in Modern Drummer Magazine Oct 2016 issue announcing his joining the Mapex Family.


Donn just release his latest double cd entitled "Retouched" Classics by the Masters
The album is a 22 track catalog of Classics from James Ingram to The Who.
