From the first time he picked up a pair of sticks at the age of three, Steve has built a strong reputation for excellence and diversity which has earned the respect of some of the greatest names in the music industry in multiple genres.

His goal in every session is to secure the heartbeat of the song and transform it into a work of art! Steve’s ability to understand music beyond the instrument has caught the attention of such mainstream artists as ZZ Ward, Toni Braxton, Black Eyed Peas, Kanye West, Young Bleu, Macy Gray and a host of others. He has toured and recorded with a number of artists and producers who celebrate his natural ability to adapt to any artist’s style and deliver quality with consistency. Locking a groove, for Steve, is a God-given gift. While the drummer is the “engine” of the band, Steve realizes that all the parts are necessary to make the unit thrive.
