"These drums are the epitome of quality craftsmanship. Mapex has been the company that innovates and invents new ways to pull the absolute best out of ever drum they produce. I wanted to align myself with a company that is ambitious, creative and pushing the envelope everyday to bring today’s drummers, tomorrow’s drums. Mapex is unmistakably that company."

Myles Clayborne was born October of 1994 in Springfield, Ohio. Raised by his Mother and Grandmother Myles found his passion for music while attending church as a child. He began to take interest in the drums and was fascinated by the instrument. After learning and playing exclusively in church until just after his junior year, he started playing for a pop rock trio simply called “Those One Guys” of which he was a member through graduation. After that band ended, Myles got plugged into the Columbus, Ohio music scene first as a bassist in the band Personal Public. What followed would be four years of performing as a drummer in Ohio bands such as Heroes Like Villains, Second Story Anthem, I Apollo, Risen From the Fall, and the Kansas City metalcore band Renegades. After moving to Kansas City at the end of 2018, Myles was introduced to the guys in SAUL after playing a show together at Renegades’ tour kick off. Myles came to join the Progressive rock outfit in January of 2020 and spent most of the year growing with the band as they released their first full length Album in October “Rise as Equals” featuring their singles Trial by Fire, Brother, and King Of Misery. With a full schedule in the works for 2021 there will be no shortage of opportunities to catch Myles live with SAUL.
