I started playing drums in 1983 in a local orchestra. Actually I did snare drum for two years before I was "allowed" to play a drumset. After playing in the school band until graduation I joined my first band with original songs in 1992. Over time I changed bands and genres here and there from Heavy Metal to Gothic Rock to Musical and several cover bands. In 2013 I joined My Own Ghost (Pop-Rock, Luxembourg) and Fred Barreto Group (Bluesrock, Luxembourg). And since 2020 I'm playing in Victory. That gave me the opportunity to play and learn a lot about touring, recording and playing festivals such as Rock Hard Festival (Germany), Wacken Open Air (Germany), Prog Power Festival (USA), Rock Meets Reggae (Sri Lanka) or Détakali Festival (Île de la Réunion).

Mapex drums always give me the sound I need for my different band styles. Whether it be Hard Rock/Heavy Metal, Blues/Blues Rock or Rock-Pop And they do look pretty awesome as well, don't they? Also the different Black Panther Snares I use are very versatile in sound and looks.
