Eleni Nota was born in 1994 in Rhodes, Greece. Her musical journey began at age seven with the piano, transitioning to drums at age twelve. She holds a degree in Music Performance (Drums) from Lab Music Education (Athens), alongside degrees in Music Theory and Harmony. From 2020 to 2022, Eleni was the drummer of the Brazilian thrash/death metal band NERVOSA (Napalm Records). While in Nervosa, she composed and recorded the drums for the critically acclaimed album PERPETUAL CHAOS and toured extensively around Europe/UK and North America. As of September 2022, Eleni is the drummer for the Spanish metalcore band ANKOR (UNFD). Her career with Ankor includes global tours (Europe, UK, North America, Japan, India, Mexico) and performances on the biggest European festivals (Wacken, Hellfest, Graspop, Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, Download and many more). Beyond touring with Ankor, Eleni is a session musician and educator. Her portfolio includes: - Teaching: Drum instructor with students from all over the world. - Studio Work: Recording for various international artists. - Fill-In Drummer: She has filled in for the Swiss heavy metal band BURNING WITCHES and many Greek metal and rock bands. - TV & Theater: Extensive work as a live drummer and composer for major Greek TV talk shows and theatrical productions. - Drum Festivals: Featured performer at the ATHENS DRUM FESTIVAL (2023 & 2025).
