Mount Juliet, TN, January 7, 2026... Mapex Drums is pleased to announce that Simon Tellier has joined the Mapex Drums artist roster. A highly respected drummer, producer, and songwriter, Tellier has built a career touring internationally and recording with some of the biggest names in commercial music.

Based in Los Angeles, Tellier is a first-call session and touring drummer whose credits span pop, electronic, R&B, and rock. His extensive resume includes work with platinum-selling artists such as the Pet Shop Boys, Birdy, Jason Derulo, Charli XCX, Labrinth, Taio Cruz, and Gloria Gaynor, among many others. He has performed on a variety of stages ranging from arenas, stadiums, and theatres, bringing his consistent musicality to a wide range of high-profile productions.

Born in France, Tellier’s early career gained momentum in Europe through major drum festivals and international clinics, followed by a pivotal move to London on scholarship to study at Tech Music School. Shortly after arriving in the UK, he became the house drummer for hit-making powerhouse Xenomania Records, leading to extensive touring throughout Europe and opening performances for artists including Paolo Nutini, OneRepublic, Whitney Houston, and Leona Lewis.

In addition to his performance work, Tellier is an accomplished composer and producer, with multiple albums released through De Wolfe Music, he continues to develop new projects from his studio in Hollywood.
