Roberto Pirami - Drummer and Coach, born 1980.
Versatile and strong, he starts his studies at the famous Music University in Rome, under the guide of mentors Maurizio Boco, Pietro Iodice and Davide Pettirossi.
He works with both national and international artists, live and in studio.
His featuring: Vinnie Moore,Michael Angelo Batio, K2RE, Blaze Bayley, Jennifer Batten, TM Stevens, Uli Jon Roth, Michael Hill, Silvia Salemi, Roberto Casalino, Nathalie.
Very active teacher, he owns and runs his famous school Free Drumming Studio.

He's also involved in the european contest Tour Music Fest as coach and coordinator.
He's actually preparing to tour in Europe with Michael Angelo Batio and Vinnie Moore.
Also he will soon publish an album with his band K2RE, which he will promote in an European tour as well. He's part of a team of soundtrack composers for TV, Cinema and Documentaries.

Playing on Mapex is for me like playing in the team I always supported. When younger I already followed drummers as Mike Portnoy, Greg Bissonette, Wil Calhoun and while I admired their art I also loved their drums sound. Mapex is for me trust, power, innovation...Family!
