Junior Vargas was born in 01/04/74. At age 9, he had his first contact with the instrument, and at 15 began playing with Rock/Pop Bands. During his career, he played with numerous Gospel and Rock/Pop artists. Junior recorded his first album in 2001, called “On&Off”. According to specialized media and press, “it is a singular work… very well produced under all aspects, where technique, musicality and good taste are ON!” In 2003, he recorded his second live work with the participation of numerous renowned musicians of the Brazilian musical scene. In 2005, he participated in Pedro Mariano´s Live CD and DVD, and in 2007 in Pedro´s latest album, which received a Latin Grammy nominee in the Best Contemporary Pop Album category, 2009 Cd Pedro Mariano “Incondicional”. At present day, Junior is play with several national artists, doing workshops all around Brazil and records at his home studio and still represents big brands like Zildjian, Mapex, Evans, Promark, Korg, Axis, and Torelli.
