Paul Maxvell (The piano Man)

He began to play the drums at the age of 14, in a self-taught way. His musical concerns led him to start studying drums at the age of 20 with Jose Antonio Pereira (at the I.M.T.), to later begin his classical studies in the city of Santander where he graduated as a classical percussion teacher under Victor M. Aja. Later he completed higher studies at the Oviedo Conservatory of Music, studying with professors such as Fernando Arias and Rafael Casanova. Within the classical world he has received classes with international player such as Juanjo Guillem(Neopercusión, Madrid) and Rafael Gálvez (Neopercusión, Madrid). He has been a teacher of classical drums and percussion for more than 20 years and in this educational field he stands out as a teacher at: Municipal School of Valladolid. Since 2013 he is Director and teacher of Drums, percussion and musical theory at the School of European Music (Palencia). For this year, he will participate in Paul Maxwell (Piano Man) international Tour´22. He´ve been participating in recordings with: Il Divo "Musical Affair, French Version" (Drums and percussions), SuiteJazz Trio (Drums), Il Divo "Timeless" (Drums and percussion). Actually he has edited and printed three books about drums, and is wating for publishing two more. In 2022, he will show this works in different Spanish music schools. Endosers. Actually, he is an endoser of Mapex drums Spain, Wincent drumsticks Spain and Ufip cymbals Spain.
