Mick James Gravee is a professional session drummer in the Netherlands. At the age of 6 he started taking drum lessons at the local music school and at the age of 18 he went to the Conservatory in Maastricht. Mick started his own Drum School in 2007 at 2 locations in the Netherlands. In 2011 he became European Champion in the Roland V-Drums World Championship and therefore he had the honour of going to the Namm Show in 2012 and playing at the Finals in The House of Blues in Anaheim. From that point on he played in several big music groups and with great artists in the Netherlands, such as:01 De Coronas ( Big Stand Up - Pop Group) 02 Sun Caged ( Progressive Metal Group, known for its quality for that genre in the whole world) 03 Shirma Rouse (Soul Diva) 04 Patricia van Haastrecht (The Voice Of Holland Finals) 05 Nurlaila Karim (Miss Saigon & Tina Turner Musicals) 06 Dreamteam (Great Dutch Clinicband, Fusion/Black Gospel Style) 07 TDE Band (Professional
studio/live session group). Mick also worked with Tony Spinner (ToTo) & bass-legend Andrew Gouché (Chaka Khan & Prince). His style of playing is very diverse. He loves playing Funk/Fusion & Groove-stuff but also Prog-Rock or Latin Material to name a few musical styles. Besides teaching at his drum school and playing in several bands, he really loves to perform at clinics and speaking to the audience about the brands/material. He is looking forward to meet all of you in person somewhere around the world.
