Canadian powerhouse Michael (Mike) Ieradi has spent over a decade establishing himself as one of modern progressive metal's most precise and versatile players. Best known for his nearly ten-year tenure as the rhythmic anchor of Juno Award-winning Prog Metalcore stalwarts Protest the Hero, Ieradi’s technical execution and relentless speed have cemented his reputation worldwide.
Before taking the throne in Protest the Hero in late 2013, Ieradi cut his teeth in the underground Canadian tech-metal scene, driving the complex arrangements for Today I Caught the Plague and its critically acclaimed successor, The Kindred. His diverse musical vocabulary has also made him a go-to session player, touring globally with high-octane punk-rock acts like This Is a Standoff.
Still active writing music with Protest The Hero and playing with bands Same Fears, and Mystery Weekend, Mike is also a drum instructor and also releases performance/how-to videos on his social media pages.
