Alex Roman was born in Cairo, Egypt. His parents made the choice to move to sunny South Florida for a chance at the American dream. Alex began drumming at the young age of just 10 years old and has been nonstop ever since. In 2013 Alex had an idea to do a drum cover of the popular song “Unconditionally” by Katy Perry for YouTube and little did he know that it would end up being the start of what would soon then became Fame on Fire. This band consists of his best friends since middle school and their bond has helped them succeed into their career in the music industry. Fame on Fire has toured with bands like ICENINEKILLS, Starset, Zero 9:36, RED, and One Ok Rock! Alex is excited to see what the future has in store and is honored to be a part of the Mapex family.
