Alex Ortega was born in Mexico and moved to Switzerland as a child. He started playing drums at the age of 5. Early influences include artists like Phil Collins, Santana, Toto and Guns'n'Roses. He has been playing in various formations and styles since he was a teenager and has recorded several albums, for example with Endoras and Inishmore. He is currently playing drums for Inishmore and SorePoint, he is contributing to the metal/nu metal scene.
