Artist Bio:

Pete Sweeney is a drummer, author, and educator living in Troy NY. He has performed with many great musicians such as Pat Metheny, Larry Coryell, Lee Ritenour, Robben Ford,John Abercrombie, Frank Gambale,, Andy Summers, Dan Toler,, Ronnie Earl, Duke Robillard, and Ed Mann. He has written 20 instructional books for the Alfred Publishing Company including the 30 Day Drum Workout and The Versatile Drummer. Pete currently teaches at the Berkshire Music School, Union College, Bard College at Simon's Rock, and the Troy Music Academy. He has endorsed Mapex drums since 2002, and currently performs on a Orion maple set and a Deep Forrest Cherry set.
