The decision of Genesis Percussion to join the Mapex/Majestic family was truly a no-brainer. We joined in 2008 and have never regretted our decision. We have seen over a decade of unmatched support, innovation in design, and superior quality of equipment.

Banded Story:

Every season during the weekend of MCGC State Championships, Genesis & G2 host a Friday evening Community Performance sponsored by Grand Rapids Youth Performing Arts (GRYPA), their affiliated non-profit. The groups then spend all day Saturday rehearsing side-by-side, literally separated only by a door and some steps. Members perform for each other and grow their social bonds. These events are critical to our success and continuity, as multiple members make the leap from G2 to Genesis every year.

Artist Bio:

Some of our most notable recognitions in the past few years have included being promoted from Open Class to World Class status in WGI in 2016 and two world class first place awards in our local circuit MCGC state championships in 2018 and 2019.
