Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Kelsey Cook has been playing the drums since she was 10 years young. Known to her fans as DrummerGirl-KC, she moved to Nashville in 2015 where she currently resides and continues to live out her passion for drumming. She has a Percussion Performance Degree from Washburn University and attended Musicians Institute in L.A.

Kelsey has had a variety of opportunities during her music career. In 2013, she was the second runner up in the worldwide Hit Like a Girl competition. From 2013-2015, she performed on the snare line of the NFL Kansas City Chiefs Rumble Drumline. While in Kansas City, she also performed with several bands taking her on tours around the country. Kelsey's love for music and performing eventually brought her to Nashville, TN.

While in Nashville, she has broadened her music career. Now working as a full time musician, Kelsey plays drums for several local music artists in and out of town -- most currently, she now plays drums for singer-songwriter, Grammy nominated Brandy Clark. From the Honky Tonks of Downtown Broadway to theater performance at the historical Ryman Auditorium and the Grand Ole Opry, Kelsey has enjoyed performing within the diverse music culture that Nashville has to offer.

Kelsey currently endorses Mapex Drums, The Carmichael Throne, DrumTacs, and DreamEarz IE Monitors.
